So, here are the questions Ella set out for me:
1. Why is your favourite person your favourite person? (You don’t have to name names but you can only pick one person!)
~*diplomatic answer*~
Right now my favourite person is Brienne of Tarth (GoT) because when I was younger I used to sword-fight in my garden (alone…) and pretend I was one of Robin Hood’s Merry Men and so I think she’s my ideal me. I also like that she is a strong female character who is not stereotypically ‘beautiful’ or overtly sexualised like many women on television. SUPER ROLE-MODEL!
2. Favourite memory?
I have so many amazing memories that I always find this SUCH a difficult question to answer.
*mind blank*3. Somewhere you haven’t been to yet but want to?
America! It’s my dream to go on a roadtrip one day.
4. Somewhere you have already been but are aching to go back?
Hmm, Tenerife because we went to visit Jamie's brother, brother's girlfriend and their daughter who live over there and if we could only scrape the money together we could go and stay again and I NEED SOME SUN and Juliet is ADORABLE. And there's a really cool waterpark and oh, so many reasons.
5. Top five favourite films?
Don’t do this to me Ella. Asking ALL the hard questions. These aren’t my ‘top five’ and they aren’t really in order but they are some of my favourite films…
1. Disney’s Robin Hood (but all the other Robin Hoods by proxy really)
2. Pulp Fiction
3. Love, Actually (sucker for a romance)
4. The Green Mile
5. Bridget Jones’ Diary

6. Why you study what you study at uni, or alternatively if you don’t go to uni, what would you want to study if you did?
I study Creative Writing because English was my favourite subject (alongside Drama) at school BUT at the time I didn’t know what career path I wanted to choose or where my writing was going to go so I wanted to take a broader course than say ‘Journalism’ or ‘English Language’.
7. A song lyric that resonates with you?
"I want to be the girl with the most cake" -Hole(I’m sure there are some more sentimental ones but I can’t think…)
8. Do you prefer being casual or dressed up?
Casual unless I can get dressed up to what my idea of ‘dressed up’ is. If I have to go super formal I get all squirmy and start being all body-critical and want to cry.
9. If you could meet any actor/musician/historical figure, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
Not gonna say Robin Hood, honest. Hmmmmmm, agh I don’t know at all. I’d quite like to speak to the Suffragettes because they were the beginnings of the Women’s Rights Movement and I feel like I owe them a lot (not to mention - how interesting would that be?!)
10. Three reasons you like blogging?
1. I get to meet so many cool people who teach me new stuff all the time
2. Introducing new people to feminism/helping them on their journey
3. I get to do fun stuff like this and this and loads more
11. Something, an event or person or film etc, that’s changed your life?
My Grandma and Granddad who took care of me almost every day as a little girl. They did everything in their power to help me in life and had hours and hours of time and patience for me. My Granddad would sit around the table and play ‘Blue Peter’ with me or read to me while we wore silly wedding hats, my Gran has taught me to sew and to bake and has sat through a million conversations. They are so inspirational to me and I owe my creativity and imagination (and therefore my future) to them.

My questions:
1. What is the weirdest dream you’ve ever had?
2. If you had to be reborn as an inanimate object, which inanimate would you choose to be and why?
3. What’s the oddest combination of foods you’ve ever eaten?
4. Give yourself a compliment!
5. I picked a bunch of excellent feminists to nominate; why is feminism important to you?
6. If you were given two hours to do whatever you wanted with (but you could only pick one activity) what would you do?
7. Tell us about your favourite family member.
8. Your life is getting a soundtrack - pick three songs that would be on it. Why?
9. What was the highlight of your day, today?
10. Favourite character from a TV show?
11. Who is the most annoying person in the world, in your opinion?
__________________________________________________________________
I’m supposed to do eleven facts about me, but I think you’ll be pretty sick of hearing about me now so instead I’ll just open the ask box up to any questions (about me) and I’ll answer a max of eleven. Sound okay?
Thank you again, Ella!!
